Who We Are

Skidaway Audubon derived its name from its affiliation with Audubon International, the pioneer of a certification program for golf courses two decades ago. With less than 5% of golf courses in the U.S. being Certified Audubon Cooperative Sanctuaries, a rigorous program aimed at preserving the natural environment, our organization oversees and supports this initiative. While we hold the utmost respect for Ogeechee Audubon, our local Audubon Society affiliate, it's important to note that Skidaway Audubon is a distinct organization, dedicated to its own unique objectives and collaborative pursuits.
