Auction to Benefit Nature Programs

Looking for a way to bring something colorful to your garden that won’t get eaten by deer?  Bid on some beautifully crafted wildlife-themed yard art.

Starting May 18 at 10 a.m. and ending 5 p.m. May 24, the online auction will feature colorful representations of butterflies, bluebirds, turtles and bats. Each figure is made of wood, hand painted, and was crafted here on Skidaway Island. The art pieces range in size from 35 to 16 inches and are coated in polyurethane for indoor or outdoor display.

The yard art pieces were to be part of the festivities at Skidaway Audubon’s annual golf tournament that was cancelled due to the pandemic. The annual tournament is Audubon’s big fundraiser of the year which supports its many island-wide environmental projects.

The minimum starting bid is $25 for each item. Click on the picture of the yard art below to go to the bid sheets, and help support Audubon’s many programs that protect and preserve our natural wonders!
